📘 Topic: Preposition Mistakes – IN / ON / AT / TO / FOR / BY / FROM

1️⃣ IN / ON / AT – Time Usage (காலத்துடன் பயன்படுத்துவது)

❌ Wrong: I will meet you on evening.
✔ Correct: I will meet you in the evening.

❌ Wrong: The exam is in Monday.
✔ Correct: The exam is on Monday.

❌ Wrong: He arrived in 5 PM.
✔ Correct: He arrived at 5 PM.

⏳ Easy Rule (எளிய விதி):
at → சரியான நேரம் (at 6 PM)
on → நாள் / தேதி (on Monday)
in → மாதம் / ஆண்டு / காலம் (in July, in 2025)

Mini Quiz – Time:
1) I will call you (in / on / at) night.
2) The interview is (in / on / at) Tuesday.
3) They arrived (in / on / at) 4 PM.

2️⃣ IN / ON / AT – Place Usage (இடத்துடன் பயன்படுத்துவது)

✔ Correct: He is in the room. (அவர் அறைக்குள் உள்ளார்)
✔ Correct: She is in the car. (அவர் கார் உள்ளே உள்ளார்)

❌ Wrong: He is on the car.
✔ Correct: He is in the car.

📍 Easy Rule:
in → மூடிய இடம் / உள்ளே
on → மேலே தட்டையான மேல் பரப்பில்
at → குறிப்பிட்ட இடம்

Mini Quiz – Place:
1) The keys are (in / on / at) the shelf.
2) She is waiting (in / on / at) the gate.
3) The cat is sitting (in / on / at) the roof.
பதில்கள் கீழே உள்ளன.

3️⃣ TO / FOR – Destination vs Purpose (இலக்கு vs நோக்கம்)

❌ Wrong: This letter is to you.
✔ Correct: This letter is for you. (இது உனக்காக உள்ளது)

❌ Wrong: I am going for London.
✔ Correct: I am going to London.

🎯 Rule:
for → நோக்கம் (for you, for help)
to → இடத்திற்குப் போவது (go to school)

4️⃣ BY / FROM – செய்பவர் vs மூல இடம்

❌ Wrong: This work was done from me.
✔ Correct: This work was done by me. (என் மூலம் செய்யப்பட்டது)

❌ Wrong: I bought this by a shop.
✔ Correct: I bought this from a shop. (கடையில் இருந்து வாங்கினேன்)

🎯 Rule:
by → யார் செய்தார்
from → எங்கிருந்து வந்தது

✔ Correct: I told him.

❌ Wrong: Request to him.
✔ Correct: Request him.

📝 Tip: Simple English பேசும்போது extra prepositions avoid செய்யவும்.

6️⃣ Extended Phonetics – உச்சரிப்பு பயிற்சி

தினமும் 5 நிமிடம் கண்ணாடி முன் பயிற்சி செய்யுங்கள். நாக்கு மற்றும் உதடு நிலையை கவனியுங்கள் — உச்சரிப்பு உடனே சரியாகும்.

A) Sound Pair: V vs W

V → “வி” (பற்கள் + கீழ் உதடு மெல்ல தொடுதல்)
W → “வ் / உ” (உதடு வட்டமாக) Examples:
van (வான்), vine (வைன்), very (வெரி)
won (வன்), wine (வைன்), wet (வெட்)

B) TH (θ) vs DH (ð)

TH (θ) → நாக்கு சற்று வெளியே (think, thin)
DH (ð) → அதே நிலை + குரல் அதிர்வு (this, that)
