1) ❌ Incorrect: He don’t know the answer.
Phonetics: /hiː doʊnt noʊ ði ˈænsər/
गलती क्यों? “He” के साथ “don’t” नहीं, “doesn’t” आता है।
✔ Correct: He doesn’t know the answer.
Example: He doesn’t know the answer to this question.
2) ❌ Incorrect: She is having two brothers.
Phonetics: /ʃiː ɪz hævɪŋ tuː ˈbrʌðərz/
गलती क्यों? Possession दिखाने के लिए continuous form का उपयोग नहीं होता।
✔ Correct: She has two brothers.
Example: She has two brothers who study in college.
3) ❌ Incorrect: I am having a car.
Phonetics: /aɪ æm hævɪŋ ə kɑːr/
गलती क्यों? “Have” (ownership) continuous tense में नहीं आता।
✔ Correct: I have a car.
Example: I have a car but I use it rarely.
4) ❌ Incorrect: She told that she will come.
Phonetics: /ʃiː toʊld ðæt ʃiː wɪl kʌm/
गलती क्यों? “Told” के बाद object आवश्यक है।
✔ Correct: She told me that she would come.
Example: She told me that she would come in the evening.
5) ❌ Incorrect: I did not wrote the exam.
Phonetics: /aɪ dɪd nɑːt roʊt ði ɪɡˈzæm/
गलती क्यों? “Did” के बाद verb हमेशा base form में होता है।
✔ Correct: I did not write the exam.
Example: I did not write the exam because I was sick.
6) ❌ Incorrect: He is senior than me.
Phonetics: /hiː ɪz ˈsiːniər ðæn miː/
गलती क्यों? “Senior” पहले से comparative है, इसलिए “to” आएगा।
✔ Correct: He is senior to me.
Example: He is senior to me by three years.
7) ❌ Incorrect: I prefer coffee than tea.
Phonetics: /aɪ prɪˈfɜːr kɔːfi ðæn tiː/
गलती क्यों? “Prefer” के बाद “to” आता है।
✔ Correct: I prefer coffee to tea.
Example: Many people prefer coffee to tea in winter.
8) ❌ Incorrect: She is my cousin sister.
Phonetics: /ʃiː ɪz maɪ ˈkʌzən ˈsɪstər/
गलती क्यों? “Cousin” में ही gender शामिल होता है।
✔ Correct: She is my cousin.
Example: She is my cousin and we study together.
9) ❌ Incorrect: He is married with a doctor.
Phonetics: /hiː ɪz ˈmærid wɪð ə ˈdɒktər/
गलती क्यों? सही preposition “to” है, “with” नहीं।
✔ Correct: He is married to a doctor.
Example: He is married to a doctor who works in a big hospital.
10) ❌ Incorrect: She explained me the lesson.
Phonetics: /ʃiː ɪkˈspleɪnd miː ðə ˈlɛsən/
गलती क्यों? “Explain” indirect object नहीं लेता, “to” लगेगा।
✔ Correct: She explained the lesson to me.
Example: She explained the lesson to me in a simple way.
