ఎందుకు English నేర్చుకోవాలి?
English ఒక subject కాదు — ఇది ఒక skill. ఇది మీకు confidence, opportunities, respect ఇస్తుంది.
Students, job-seekers, ఉద్యోగస్తులు, గృహిణులు — అందరికీ English చాలా ఉపయోగపడుతుంది.
మీ విలువైన టైం పెట్టి చదువుతున్నారు కాబట్టి, ఈ lesson మీకు maximum learning ఇస్తుంది.
Rule 1: “Try my best” – సరైన modern వాడకం
❌ తప్పు: I will try my level best.
✔ సరైనది: I will try my best.
ఎందుకు? Modern Englishలో short, clean sentences natural గా ఉంటాయి.
Example: I will try my best to complete the work today.
Phonetics: “ai wil trai mai best”
Rule 2: “On time” vs “In time”
❌ తప్పు: I reached in time for the meeting.
✔ సరైనది: I reached on time for the meeting.
ఎందుకు?
- On time = exact సమయం
- In time = late కాక ముందు
Examples:
- I reached on time for the meeting.
- I reached in time to save the documents.
Phonetics: “on taim” vs “in taim”
Rule 3: “Discuss” కి “about” అవసరం లేదు
❌ తప్పు: We discussed about the plan.
✔ సరైనది: We discussed the plan.
ఎందుకు? “Discuss” అంటే “about” అర్ధమే వస్తుంది.
Example: They discussed the project for two hours.
Phonetics: “wi dis-kust dhaa plan”
Rule 4: Prefer తర్వాత “to” మాత్రమే వాడాలి
❌ తప్పు: I prefer tea than coffee.
✔ సరైనది: I prefer tea to coffee.
ఎందుకు? Prefer + to → ఇది fixed rule.
Example: I prefer reading to watching TV.
Phonetics: “ai prə-fər ti tu ka-fi”
Rule 5: “Didn’t + base verb” → Golden rule
❌ తప్పు: I didn’t told you.
✔ సరైనది: I didn’t tell you.
ఎందుకు? Didn’t ఉన్నప్పుడు verb simple formలో ఉండాలి.
Example: I didn’t see your message.
Phonetics: “ai did-nt tel yu”
🎯 Quick Practice
- He explained me the topic. → He explained the topic to me.
- I am going to home. → I am going home.
- She is my best friend no? → She is my best friend, right?
Daily Speaking Tip (Telugu)
Tip: Long sentences మాట్లాడాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. చిన్నచిన్న, clean sentences మాట్లాడితే English చాలా natural గా ఉంటుంది.
