ஏன் ஆங்கிலம் கற்றுக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்?
ஆங்கிலம் ஒரு subject அல்ல — இது ஒரு life skill. இது உங்களுக்கு நம்பிக்கை, வேலை வாய்ப்பு, தெளிவான தொடர்பு ஆகியவற்றை வழங்கும்.
Students, job seekers, homemakers — அனைவருக்கும் English பயன்தரும்.
நீங்கள் உங்கள் விலைமதிப்புள்ள நேரத்தை செலவழிக்கிறீர்கள், அதனால் இந்த lesson மிகச் சிறந்த பயனுடன் அமைக்கப்பட்டது.
Rule 1: “Try my best” – Correct Modern English
❌ தவறு: I will try my level best.
✔ சரி: I will try my best.
ஏன்? Modern English-ல் short & clear sentences natural-ஆக இருக்கும்.
Example: I will try my best to complete it today.
🗣️ Phonetics: “ai wil trai mai best”
Rule 2: “On time” vs “In time”
❌ தவறு: I reached in time for the meeting.
✔ சரி: I reached on time for the meeting.
Explained:
- On time = சரியான நேரத்தில்
- In time = தாமதமில்லாமல் முன்பே
Examples:
- I reached on time for the meeting.
- I reached in time to help him.
Phonetics: “on taim” vs “in taim”
Rule 3: “Discuss” + NO “about”
❌ தவறு: We discussed about the plan.
✔ சரி: We discussed the plan.
ஏன்? “Discuss” என்பதே ‘about’ என்ற அர்த்தத்தை கொண்டுள்ளது.
Example: They discussed the issue clearly.
Phonetics: “wi dis-kust dhə plan”
Rule 4: “Prefer + to” – Fix rule
❌ தவறு: I prefer tea than coffee.
✔ சரி: I prefer tea to coffee.
ஏன்? Prefer க்கு பின் எப்போதும் “to” வரும்.
Example: I prefer walking to driving.
Phonetics: “ai prə-fər ti tu ka-fi”
Rule 5: “Didn’t + base verb” – Most important
❌ தவறு: I didn’t told you.
✔ சரி: I didn’t tell you.
ஏன்? “Didn’t” பிறகு verb எப்போதும் base-form-ல் வர வேண்டும்.
Example: I didn’t check the file.
Phonetics: “ai did-nt tel yu”

- He explained me the topic. → He explained the topic to me.
- I am going to home. → I am going home.
- She is my best friend no? → She is my best friend, right?
