Present Continuous Tense — Day 1
Basic Sentence Corrections (Live Actions)
Day 1 Focus
ఈ రోజు మన focus:
- ఇప్పుడే జరుగుతున్న పనులు
- Live actions ని సరైన tense లో చెప్పడం
- Simple Present → Present Continuous correction
Core Rule (మర్చిపోకండి)
Subject + am / is / are + verb + ing
- I → am
- He / She / It → is
- You / We / They → are
❌❌ Wrong → ✅ Correct (Observe Carefully)
🔹 Correction Set 1
- ❌ I eat food now.
✅ I am eating food now. - ❌ She write exam now.
✅ She is writing the exam now. - ❌ They play cricket now.
✅ They are playing cricket now.
Observation:
“now / at present” కనిపిస్తే → Present Continuous
🔹 Correction Set 2 (Helping Verb Errors)
- ❌ He am working now.
✅ He is working now. - ❌ I is reading a book.
✅ I am reading a book. - ❌ They is watching TV.
✅ They are watching TV.
Rule Reminder:
Helping verb subject మీద depend అవుతుంది
🔹 Correction Set 3 (Verb + ING Mistakes)
- ❌ She is write letter.
✅ She is writing a letter. - ❌ I am read newspaper.
✅ I am reading the newspaper. - ❌ He is play football.
✅ He is playing football.
Common Beginner Mistakes
- ❌ I am knowing English.
✅ I know English. - ❌ She is liking coffee.
✅ She likes coffee.
👉 know, like, love, believe వీటిని సాధారణంగా Continuous లో వాడరు.
