Simple Present Tense — Sentence Correction
Day 1: Subject–Verb Agreement Errors
❓ Sentence Correction ஏன் முக்கியம்?
பல learners-க்கு grammar விதிகள் தெரியும், ஆனால் பேசும் போது தவறுகள் ஏற்படுகின்றன.
Sentence correction மூலம்:
- உண்மையான spoken mistakes புரிகின்றன
- தவறான thinking pattern சரியாகிறது
- English பேசும் நம்பிக்கை அதிகரிக்கிறது
Core Rule (மறக்கக்கூடாதது)
Simple Present Tense-ல்:
He / She / It → verb + s / es
இது learners அதிகம் செய்யும் தவறு.
❌ Wrong → ✅ Correct (கவனமாக பார்க்கவும்)

❌ She go to office daily.
✅ She goes to office daily. -
❌ He play cricket every evening.
✅ He plays cricket every evening. -
❌ My father work in a hospital.
✅ My father works in a hospital. -
❌ The teacher explain the lesson.
✅ The teacher explains the lesson.
ஏன் இந்த வாக்கியங்கள் தவறு?
Subject இதுபோல் இருந்தால்:
- He
- She
- It
- ஒரு நபர் / ஒரு பொருள் (singular noun)
👉 verb-க்கு கட்டாயமாக s / es சேர்க்க வேண்டும்.
Common Spoken Mistakes
- ❌ She like coffee.
✅ She likes coffee. - ❌ He go by bus.
✅ He goes by bus. - ❌ My brother live here.
✅ My brother lives here.
Practice Section (நீங்களே சரிசெய்யுங்கள்)
- She work hard.
- He read newspaper daily.
- The child play outside.
