WH Question – Golden Structure

WH word + has / have + subject + V³ ?

👉 WH words: What, Why, When, Where, Who, How
👉 He / She / It → has
👉 I / You / We / They → have

❌ Common Mistake #1 – Missing helping verb

Wrong:

• ❌ What you finished?
• ❌ Where she gone?

Correct:

• ✅ What have you finished?
• ✅ Where has she gone?

 Tamil Explanation:
WH question என்றாலும் has / have கட்டாயம்.

❌ Common Mistake #2 – Using base verb instead of V³

Wrong:

• ❌ What have you do?
• ❌ Why has he go early?

Correct:

• ✅ What have you done?
• ✅ Why has he gone early?

Present Perfect-ல் V³ (past participle) மட்டுமே வரும்.
