Day 6 – Sentence Transformation (Hindi)
Day 6 का उद्देश्य
- एक ही sentence को चारों forms में बदलना
- Positive → Negative → Question → WH Question
- Past Continuous पर पूरा control पाना
Past Continuous का Core Structure
Subject + was / were + verb + ing
👉 यह tense बताता है कि भूतकाल में कोई काम चल रहा था
Example 1 – Complete Transformation
Base Sentence (Positive):
- I was reading a book.
Negative:
- I was not reading a book.
Yes / No Question:
- Was I reading a book?
WH Question:
- What was I reading?
Example 2 – She / He
Positive:
- She was cooking food.
Negative:
- She was not cooking food.
Yes / No Question:
- Was she cooking food?
WH Question:
- What was she cooking?
Example 3 – Plural Subject
Positive:
- They were playing football.
Negative:
- They were not playing football.
Yes / No Question:
- Were they playing football?
WH Question:
- What were they playing?
Common Transformation Mistakes

❌ Were they watching TV?
❌ (गलत नहीं है, लेकिन tense पहचानें)
✅ Past Continuous सही है -
❌ What was he do?

“उस समय काम चल रहा था”
तो हमेशा सोचें:
was / were + verb + ing
