Present Perfect Continuous Tense – Corrections

Day 4 – Yes / No Question Corrections

🎯 Day 4 యొక్క ముఖ్య లక్ష్యం

ఈ రోజు మనం grammar కన్నా question formation discipline నేర్చుకుంటాం.

  • Yes / No questions లో word order clear అవ్వాలి
  • has / have position automatic అవ్వాలి
  • been + verb-ing ఎక్కడా miss కాకూడదు

 Correct Question Structure

Has / Have + subject + been + verb-ing ?

👉 Statement లో has / have middle లో ఉంటుంది
👉 Question లో has / have ముందుకు వస్తుంది

Common Mistake #1 – Wrong Word Order

  • ❌ You have been working here long time?
Have you been working here long time?
  • ❌ She has been studying well?
    Has she been studying well?
  • ❌ They have been waiting long?
    Have they been waiting long?

👉 Question అంటే Helping verb first — ఇదే golden rule.

Common Mistake #2 – BEEN Missing in Questions

  • ❌ Have you working since morning?
✅ Have you been working since morning?
  • ❌ Has she preparing for exams?
✅ Has she been preparing for exams?
  • ❌ Have they living here for years?
✅ Have they been living here for years?

👉 been లేకుండా Present Perfect Continuous **exist కాదు**

Common Mistake #3 – am / is / are in Questions

  • ❌ Is he working here for 5 years?
✅ Has he been working here for 5 years?
  • ❌ Are they waiting since morning?
✅ Have they been waiting since morning?
  • ❌ Is she studying English for months?
✅ Has she been studying English for months?

👉 for / since కనిపిస్తే Present Continuous ❌ Present Perfect Continuous ✅

 Statement → Question Transformation

  • Statement: He has been working hard.
  • Question: Has he been working hard?
  • Statement: They have been waiting for an hour.
  • Question: Have they been waiting for an hour?

 Practice – Correct the Questions

  1. You have been studying since morning?
  2. She been working here long time?
  3. Is he been preparing for exams?
  4. Have they working on this project?

(Answers + logic Day 5 లో)

 Day 4 Final Understanding

Yes / No questions లో mistake రావడానికి కారణం grammar కాదు — order discipline లేకపోవడం.

Has / Have → Subject → been → verb-ing ఈ flow follow అయితే questions automatic గా correct అవుతాయి.
