Core Structure (Never Forget)
Subject + has / have + been + verb + ing
👉 tense continuous ആണെങ്കിൽ been compulsory 👉 verb എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും -ing form
Transformation Set 1
Base Sentence:
I have been studying English for two years.
- Negative: I have not been studying English for two years.
- Yes / No: Have I been studying English for two years?
- WH: How long have I been studying English?
👉 “for two years” → duration → How long
Transformation Set 2
She has been working here since 2020.
- Negative: She has not been working here since 2020.
- Yes / No: Has she been working here since 2020?
- WH: Since when has she been working here?
👉 “since 2020” → starting point → Since when
Transformation Set 3
They have been waiting for the bus for one hour.
- Negative: They have not been waiting for the bus for one hour.
- Yes / No: Have they been waiting for the bus for one hour?
- WH: What have they been waiting for?
