Present Perfect Continuous Tense – Corrections

Day 4 – WH-Question Corrections (Hindi)

 Day 4 का उद्देश्य

आज आप सीखेंगे:

  • WH-Questions (What, Why, How long, Where, Who आदि)
  • Question का सही word order
  • WH-questions में होने वाली सामान्य गलतियाँ

 WH-Question का सही Structure

WH-word + has / have + subject + been + verb-ing ?

👉 WH-word हमेशा sentence की शुरुआत में आता है 👉 उसके बाद has / have 👉 फिर subject + been + verb-ing

❌ Common Mistake 1 – Wrong Word Order

  • ❌ Why you have been waiting?
✅ Why have you been waiting?
  • ❌ Where she has been working?
✅ Where has she been working?

👉 Rule: WH-word के तुरंत बाद has / have आएगा।

❌ Common Mistake 2 – been को छोड़ देना

  • ❌ What have you doing all day?
✅ What have you been doing all day?
  • ❌ How long has he studying here?
✅ How long has he been studying here?

❌ Common Mistake 3 – verb-ing की जगह base verb

  • ❌ What have they been work on?
✅ What have they been working on?
  • ❌ Why has she been cry?
✅ Why has she been crying?

❌ Common Mistake 4 – Exact Past Time का प्रयोग

  • ❌ Since when have you been studying yesterday?
✅ When did you study yesterday?
✅ How long have you been studying?
  • ❌ Where has he been working last year?
✅ Where did he work last year?
✅ Where has he been working since last year?

WH-Questions में भी exact past time का प्रयोग नहीं होता।

✅ Correct WH-Question Examples

  • What have you been learning recently?
  • Why has she been feeling sad?
  • How long have they been living here?
  • Where has he been working since 2020?
  • Who has been helping you?

 Practice – WH-Questions बनाइए

  1. (What) you / do / all morning
  2. (Why) she / wait / outside
  3. (How long) they / prepare / for exam
  4. (Where) he / work / since June

(सही answers Day 5 के अंत में दिए जाएँगे)

Day 4 Key Takeaway

WH-Question में हमेशा यह क्रम याद रखें:

WH-word → has / have → subject → been → verb-ing

अगर यह क्रम सही है, तो आपका question भी हमेशा सही होगा।
