Base Formula (గుండెల్లో పెట్టుకోవాలి)
Subject + was / were + verb-ing
- I / He / She / It → was
- You / We / They → were
🔹 Set 1: One Action – All Forms
Base sentence:
I was studying English.
- Positive: I was studying English.
- Negative: I was not studying English.
- Yes/No Question: Was I studying English?
- WH Question: What was I studying?
👉 verb మారలేదు → studying 👉 only structure మారింది
🔹 Set 2: Third Person Subject
She was cooking food.
- Positive: She was cooking food.
- Negative: She was not cooking food.
- Yes/No Question: Was she cooking food?
- WH Question: What was she cooking?
🔹 Set 3: Plural Subject
They were playing cricket.
- Positive: They were playing cricket.
- Negative: They were not playing cricket.
- Yes/No Question: Were they playing cricket?
- WH Question: What were they playing?

We were waiting for the bus.
- Positive: We were waiting for the bus.
