Question Structure (Golden Formula)
Was / Were + Subject + Verb + ing ?
👉 Statement లో ఉన్న was / were 👉 Question లో ముందుకు వస్తుంది
Statement → Question (Basic Conversion)
- I was studying.
→ Was I studying? - She was cooking.
→ Was she cooking? - They were playing.
→ Were they playing? - We were waiting.
→ Were we waiting?
Subject-wise Yes / No Questions
- Was I sleeping?
- Was he working?
- Was she watching TV?
- Was it raining?
- Were you listening?
- Were we discussing?
- Were they travelling?
⏰ Time-based Yes / No Questions
- Was she studying at 10 PM?
- Were they playing cricket yesterday evening?
- Was he driving at that time?
- Were you sleeping last night?
🔄 Negative Statement → Question
- She was not cooking.
→ Was she not cooking? - They were not working.
→ Were they not working?
