Question Structure (Golden Formula)

Was / Were + Subject + Verb + ing ?

👉 Statement లో ఉన్న was / were 👉 Question లో ముందుకు వస్తుంది

Statement → Question (Basic Conversion)

I was studying.
→ Was I studying?
She was cooking.
→ Was she cooking?
They were playing.
→ Were they playing?
We were waiting.
→ Were we waiting?

Subject-wise Yes / No Questions

Was I sleeping?
Was he working?
Was she watching TV?
Was it raining?
Were you listening?
Were we discussing?
Were they travelling?

⏰ Time-based Yes / No Questions

Was she studying at 10 PM?
Were they playing cricket yesterday evening?
Was he driving at that time?
Were you sleeping last night?

🔄 Negative Statement → Question

She was not cooking.
→ Was she not cooking?
They were not working.
→ Were they not working?
