Today’s goal is to remove confusion and build confidence by clearly understanding:
- Exact sentence structure
- Correct use of has been / have been
- Why been + Ving is compulsory
The Fixed Structure (No Shortcut)
Subject + has / have + been + verb + ing
๐ This tense has three parts after the subject:
has / have → been → verb + ing

✍️ Sentence Building – Step by Step
Let us build one sentence slowly:
- Subject: I
- Helping verb: have
- Connector: been
- Main verb: study → studying

Now add time:
✅ I have been studying for two hours.
Time Expressions (Very Important)
- for → duration (for 10 minutes, for 5 years)
- since → starting point (since morning, since 2021)

Ask yourself three questions:
- Did the action start in the past? ✔
