Correct Question Structure

Was / Were + subject + verb + ing ?

👉 Helping verb comes first
👉 Main verb must be in -ing form
👉 No did is used in Past Continuous

• ❌ You were watching TV?
  ✅ Were you watching TV?
• ❌ She was cooking food?

Rule: Helping verb must come before the subject.
