Today’s focus is to gain full control over the structure of Past Continuous Tense.
- Understand why was / were are used

Core Structure (Must Remember)
Subject + was / were + Verb + ing
๐ This structure never changes in Past Continuous Tense.

✍️ Verb + ING Formation Rules
To form verb + ing, follow these simple rules:
- Normal verbs: add ing
play → playing | read → reading - Verb ending with “e”: remove e + ing
write → writing | make → making - Short verb (CVC pattern): double last consonant + ing
run → running | sit → sitting
