Simple Present Tense — Sentence Correction

Day 1: Subject–Verb Agreement Errors

❓ Sentence Correction ಯಾಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ?

ಬಹುತೆಕ learners ಗೆ grammar rules ಗೊತ್ತಿರುತ್ತವೆ, ಆದರೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಾಗ ತಪ್ಪು sentences ಬರುತ್ತವೆ.

Sentence correction ಮಾಡಿದರೆ:

ನಿಜವಾದ spoken mistakes ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ
ತಪ್ಪಾದ thinking pattern ಸರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ
English ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತದೆ

Core Rule (ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ನೆನಪಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಿ)

Simple Present Tense ನಲ್ಲಿ:
He / She / It → verb + s / es

ಇದೇ learners ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾಡುವ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ತಪ್ಪು.

❌ Wrong → ✅ Correct (ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಗಮನಿಸಿ)

❌ She go to office daily.
✅ She goes to office daily.
❌ He play cricket every evening.
✅ He plays cricket every evening.
❌ My father work in a hospital.
✅ My father works in a hospital.
❌ The teacher explain the lesson.
✅ The teacher explains the lesson.

ಈ sentences ಯಾಕೆ ತಪ್ಪು?

Subject ಈ ರೀತಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ:

He
She
It
ಒಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ / ಒಂದು ವಸ್ತು (singular noun)

👉 verb ಗೆ ತಪ್ಪದೆ s / es ಸೇರಬೇಕು.

Common Spoken Mistakes (ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ)

❌ She like coffee.
✅ She likes coffee.
❌ He go by bus.
✅ He goes by bus.
❌ My brother live here.
✅ My brother lives here.

Practice Section (ನೀವೇ ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಿ)

She work hard.
He read newspaper daily.
The child play outside.

(ಉತ್ತರ ನೋಡುವ ಮೊದಲು ನೀವೇ ಯೋಚಿಸಿ — ಅದೇ confidence)
