Interrogative Sentences (Questions)

Day 1 – Day 3 చిన్న రివిజన్

ఇప్పటి వరకు మనం Simple Present Tense లో ఈ విషయాలు నేర్చుకున్నాం:

Day 1: Simple Present → అలవాట్లు, నిజాలు
Day 2: Positive sentences → verb (s / es)
Day 3: Negative sentences → do not / does not

👉 ఇప్పుడు Day 4 లో మనం నేర్చుకునేది:

❓ Questions ఎలా అడగాలి?

❓ Interrogative Sentence అంటే ఏమిటి?

ఏదైనా విషయం తెలుసుకోవడానికి, నిర్ధారించుకోవడానికి లేదా ప్రశ్న అడగడానికి ఉపయోగించే వాక్యాన్ని Interrogative Sentence అంటారు.

Example:

You work here. ❌ (Statement)
Do you work here? ✅ (Question)

Golden Rule (మనం ఎప్పటికీ మర్చిపోకూడదు)

Simple Present Question = Do / Does + Subject + Base Verb + ?

👉 Subjectని గుర్తిస్తే grammar సగం పూర్తైనట్టే.

✍️ Sentence Structure (చాలా క్లియర్‌గా)

Do / Does + Subject + Verb (base form) + ?

⚠️ Question లో verb కి s / es రాదు.
ఎందుకంటే does already subject power తీసుకుంటుంది.

Common Spoken Mistakes (చాలా ముఖ్యమైనవి)

Yes / No Answers ఎలా ఇవ్వాలి?

✔ Do questionsకి

Yes, I do.
No, I don’t.
